President of Baptist Bible College, Jim Edge, has the concentrated desire to amplify every student's passion for Christ. The chapel sessions have this same goal in mind. While they may vary from those of past generations, they have the same spirit; to train passionate Christian leaders to share the Gospel with a dying world. Chapel speakers and music are selected with this in mind. Jon Slayden, our campus Chaplain, brings in individuals who have a deep love of Christ and a burden for where God has placed them, to share with the students. The chapel music, led by the BBC Breakaway Band, is creative and meaningful for students and faculty alike. Taking place two times a week in our newly renovated Texas Auditorium, chapel sessions are one of the most effective instruments in developing spiritual growth in the student body.
