Memorial Gifts and Endowments

Memorial Gifts
A memorial gift is a thoughtful expression to a bereaved family when you may have difficulty expressing your feelings of love and concern at a very difficult time in their lives. Such gifts of any amount are a distinctive and appropriate way for you to pay a lasting tribute to a deceased loved one or friend. As you designate your gift to Baptist Bible College your gift will be used to help provide an outstanding Christian education for future church leaders and encourage them to live for and serve the Lord.

Endowments
An endowment is an amount of money donated to the college, often in the name of a loved one, that becomes an invested amount of money. Interest from the investment is used as the Board of Directors directs. The rules for the endowment are specified in the Endowment Fund Agreement. Each endowment typically has its own Board of Directors, made up of representatives from Baptist Bible College and representatives of the family or organization establishing the endowment. Typically interest from the endowments is used for scholarships for students in different programs, specified by the Board of Directors. Your endowment can be established with a minimum gift of $50,000. Proceeds given to the Endowment are tax deductible.
