Rookie Teacher of the Year

Rookie Of The Year Alumnus Kristina JoinerKristina Joiner recently received accolades for her teaching performance from her colleagues at Anderson Elementary in Spring, Texas.  Kristina is a 2010 graduate of the Elementary Education program at BBC.   She completed her student teaching experience at Watkins Elementary – a partner school of BBC.  Kristina was one of five students that were part of the 2009 Teacher Education Alliance BBC student-teaching cohort.

Alumnus Kristina is titled Rookie of the Year

Kristina’s personal testimony is one of many opportunities… She had the opportunity to attend Texas A&M where she planned to study veterinary medicine.  KJ, as she was known across campus, made a last minute choice to attend BBC and she never looked back.  While a student she played volleyball, volunteered at local schools, and coached junior volleyball teams.  She also served as the female class speaker at the 2010 commencement ceremonies.
