Arnie Smith, D.Miss
Biography
Arnie and his wife Sharon have been married for 40 years. They have two sons and two grandchildren. He enjoys travel, reading, music and spending time with family.

Ministry Experience
- He joined the Baptist Bible Graduate School faculty in 1997 and is Chair of the Master of Arts Intercultural Studies program. He teaches Methods of Research, Theology and History of Missions, Cultural Anthropology, Cross-Cultural Communication, Missionary Ethics and Relationships, Church Planting and National Leadership, Missions Strategy, Issues in Missions Theology as well as being the major thesis reader.
- In addition to his years of service at Baptist Bible Graduate School, Arnie has 12 years of experience on church staffs in the U.S., and served for 18 years as a missionary to Chile. He has ministered in Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico and Uruguay.
