KEEP IT REAL! It’s a phrase that is often heard in our culture.  Jesus said, "Abide in me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." (John 15:4)  Our challenge at BBC is to produce fruit through our students that will remain for generations.  Lasting fruit will only come as we are rooted in the True Vine, Jesus Christ.

Our BBFI President, Mark Hodges, has issued a call for revival throughout our Fellowship.  As we gather this May on the campus of BBC we will examine the fruit  that often results when God revives his people—the fruit of Integrity, Unity, and Holiness.

I hope you will join me, the administration and faculty, and students of our great college this May as we meet together for our annual Graduation Fellowship Meeting.  I can’t wait to tell you of all the great things God is doing in the lives of our students, and the plans that He has given us for the future.

State of the College Address
For 60 years the Baptist Bible Fellowship and Baptist Bible College have worked together to fulfill the Great Commission. By establishing strong academics, a conservative literal biblical hermeneutic, and a passion for evangelism, Baptist Bible College has enabled our churches to fulfill the Great Commission. From the beginning, it was decided that BBC be the educational arm that would partner with BBFI churches to fulfill their missionary strategy by training our young men and women to impact their world with the Gospel. In our sixty years of ministry together, thousands have gone from our churches, through the halls of BBC to every continent, bringing incredible life change everywhere they have served. Only eternity will reveal the effective and miraculous ministry our strategic partnership has accomplished.

The 21st Century brings new challenges and fresh opportunities for BBC and BBFI together to accomplish their greatest ministry. In order to reach our maximum potential, for the past months a talented group of advisors in the fields of education, finance, marketing, missions and ministry have collaborated with the administration, faculty and trustees to refocus and position BBC to have her greatest impact and claim her rightful place as the leading educational institution for training the next generation of ministry leaders. As a result of their collaboration, our college will recruit, retain and equip the best young men and women from our churches. Baptist Bible College will be the best choice for your students to be skillfully and effectively prepared to challenge their world with a relevant, biblical, and defendable Christian message. This renewed focus will guarantee that the Baptist Bible Fellowship will remain a viable force for the gospel through local churches until Christ returns.

Our plan for Tomorrow’s BBC will be revealed during our State of the College Address in the W.E. Dowell Fieldhouse on the campus of BBC on Wednesday, May 12th at 11 AM. We have invited the student body to be present.

Jim Edge, President of our college, will lead the address along with members of the cabinet, Board of Trustees. and members of our strategic group of advisors. The address will take a REAL look at where we have been, where we are, and where we are going.

We believe this will be a defining moment for the future of Baptist Bible College. Every pastor who is a part of the BBFI family should plan to attend.
